1. A Stronger Body
An far infrared heater generates warm wavelengths that your body absorbs naturally. This extra heat helps your capillaries expand which increases oxygenation and regeneration of red blood cells. Both of which are extremely important for detoxifying your major organs.
White blood cell numbers are increased by using infrared heating, which boosts your immune system.
Claims have even been made that infrared light may benefit cancer patients. Concentrated infrared heat is currently being used in certain cancer treatments in Europe, including Germany, Holland and Austria. ‘Hyperthermia’ also known as thermal therapy, is a treatment where the body tissue is exposed to high temperatures to raise core body heat. Cancer does not like heat and in this treatment, cancer cells are either killed or weakened. This makes them more susceptible to traditional radiation and chemotherapies.
Complete body thermal radiation has also been found to be helpful in treating depression and Lyme disease.
*Thermal therapy is carefully controlled and performed by medical professionals usually using an infrared sauna or bodysuit.
2. Better Heart Health
Research by NASA has shown that far infrared heat on the cardiovascular system promoted healthy hearts in astronauts while in outer space.
The Mayo Clinic and Journal of the American College of Cardiology also found that intensive use of far infrared heating (via an infrared sauna) significantly improved blood vessel functionality in patients suffering from diabetes, high cholesterol and who smoked.
3. Improved Blood Circulation
Far Infrared heat dilates capillaries in the body, which greatly improves blood circulation. This means blood supply to muscles is increased when exposed to infrared heat. The improved circulation helps to improve recovery from wounds and muscle pain.
4. Reduces Joint Pain and Stiffness
Infrared heating also reduces sore and stiff joints. By increasing your heart rate via an infrared sauna, blood flow increases. This breaks down metabolic toxins such as excessive amounts of lactic acid and other impurities, which can benefit both those suffering with injuries and also those who have aches and pains related to aging like Arthritis.
5. Allergy Reduction
Conventional heating systems use convection heating. This heats the air which rises to the top of a room (a significant downside to central heating). The movement of air dislodges dust and other allergens.
However, infrared heating warms objects, not the air. This reduces the amount of dust and allergens floating around your home.
This is particularly beneficial for those with breathing difficulties who find hot, dry air aggravating and dehydrating.
Is Far Infrared Heating Safe
Far infrared heating is 100% safe, and this has been backed up by numerous studies. Additionally, the International Commission for Non-Ionising Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) has conducted numerous investigations into the health effects of different types of infrared and is the resource that national bodies including the UK Health & Safety Executive refer to when setting safe working conditions. The ICNIRP concludes that for known artificial sources of far Infrared, the “contribution made by the IR-C spectral region 3-1000µ is normally of no practical concern from a health hazard standpoint”.
Although our infrared heaters generate the same sort of heat as the sun, no harmful UV rays are projected from our panels.
Infrared heat does offer some exceptional health benefits and incorporating infrared heating into your home or workplace not only cuts costs, but creates a healthier environment all round.
